Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is the fastest growing water sport in the world right now, and has become an incredibly popular way to explore the shorelines of Anacortes and Whidbey Island, as well as the rest of the San Juan Islands.
It is easy to learn how to do and we are sure that it will soon become something that you want to do again and again! Unlike sitting low in a kayak, you are standing up and able to look more directly into the water to see the interesting sea life beneath you.

Your standup paddleboard rentals are located in Bowman Bay in beautiful Deception Pass State Park, giving you easy access to explore the protected bay area and north along the coastline. We launch right from the beach, so make sure you're wearing shoes that can get wet!
When you are finished with your SUP rental, you can explore the trails, beaches, Deception Pass bridge, and everything else this state park has to offer!

If you are planning to head up to one of the beautiful lakes in the Anacortes Community Forestlands, or spending a day at Deception Pass State Park, then rent a SUP for the whole day and see things from a brand new perspective!
Families who are planning an extended stay at one of the amazing vacation rentals on Whidbey Island, La Conner, or Anacortes can take away our rental paddle boards and have the freedom to explore on your own.
All take-away SUP rentals must be returned by 6:00pm on the final day of your rental. Please coordinate with us to ensure that we will be ready for you when you return. If you are transporting the stand up paddleboards yourself then please be sure to have a suitable vehicle to do so.
We cannot be responsible for any damages to the vehicle, or to our paddle boards, due to faulty or inadequate loading, securing, or transporting. Pads and Straps are available for a $5.00 fee. We can delivery the paddle boards to any location on Fidalgo Island for a delivery charge of $50.00
You don’t need much to enjoy your time on a stand up paddle board. The most important thing is footwear, especially if you are paddling on the sea. The shorelines of Anacortes, Deception Pass, Whidbey Island, and the San Juan Islands are full of sharp rocks, and barnacles. You’ll want to protect your feet with appropriate footwear.
We recommend neoprene booties or water sandals. We have a limited supply of neoprene booties available for a $5.00 fee. Clothing should be water compatible and appropriate for the conditions that you will be paddle boarding in.
We highly recommend bringing along a spare set of clothes to have when you return. If you get wet then you will be glad you did! Sunscreen is always a good idea on the water, just be sure to wear a t-shirt under your lifejacket so that you do not accidentally soil it. Sunscreen can ruin a lifejacket, or make it very difficult to clean.
